Further information
The classes are open to IMOCG participants, conservatory students, professional organists and advanced amateurs. The theme is determined in advance by the teacher (keep an eye on the website for this) and the participants will be asked to practice an organ piece to work on in class. The masterclasses are open to the public; the instructions of the teacher can be followed via a sound system.

There is a maximum number of eight participants per masterclass. Admission is determined by the organization. Registration for the masterclasses opens in May 2022 on this website.

Nathan Laube (1987) is an internationally renowned concert organist and pedagogue. In addition to his position as Associate Professor of Organ in the faculty of the Eastman School of Music (Rochester, USA) he is the International Consultant in Organ Studies at the Royal Birmingham Conservatoire (UK) and (since 2021) organ professor at the Hochschule für Musik in Stuttgart. Laube’s extensive recital career includes major venues spanning four continents. In 2016, he was chosen to play the inaugural recital of the restored Harrison & Harrison organ of King’s College Chapel in Cambridge (UK), and in that same year he became the first artist-in-residence of the 1738 Müller organ in St. Bavo in Haarlem. Laube’s CD recordings are available on the labels Naxos and Ambiente.
