This summer young organists from all over the world will come to the city of Groningen to compete in the International Martini Organ Competition Groningen 2022. The town of Groningen is unique because of its wealth of beautiful historic organs: during the competition no fewer than 5 of these instruments will be played. The IMOCG 2022 promises to be 7 days full of wonderful musical highlights, with concerts by the international jury members, 8 (!) masterclasses, an excursion to organs in the rural towns around the city and of course the competition itself. The IMOCG is from Sunday 31 July to Saturday 6 August 2022.
